Why Do You Need My School Email Address?
We do not want spam memberships on here. The only way we can weed spammers out is to limit VarsityLounge to students who are serious about their academic life. We have been able to achieve this by allowing only valid school issued email addresses. If you have a better idea, please let us know about it.

What if I don't want others to know who I am?
We respect your privacy and we won't share your information with third parties. As a matter of fact, we don't refer to you by your real name on VarsityLounge. You are only identified by your nickname. If you are uploading a study material and you don't want people to know who you are, we provide you an option to conceal your nickname. Your nickname will appear as "Private" on any such uploads.

Will I get in trouble for uploading materials on here?
Absoulutely NOT! As long as the materials you are uploading are not copyrighted like textbooks, you are fine.

Hmmm, I'm still not sure..is this ethical?
There is nothing unethical about studying with materials found on VarsityLounge. However, you may be crossing the lines when you plagiarize materials downloaded from VarsityLounge. We request that you cite VarsityLounge in your papers, essays, projects, etc just like you would cite any textbook, journal or article.
